I love the falu red houses in Sweden and the beautiful wildflowers. My mother’s favorite wildflower is Linnea which looks like this little blue flower, this painting reminds me of her and my Swedish heritage.
Linnea are pink and tiny. They grow close to the ground and usually in pairs, I think. These look like blue bells to me. Maybe they have another name but if you do an image search on “bluebells of scotland”, see if they look like what you’ve painted.
I was wrong.
Grandma showed this to a nurse at the doc’s office today and she said that they are a type of linnea….something flax. She has them growing in her garden.
So sweet.

Thanks…I wish I knew if these flowers were Linnea, or not…I’m not sure.
