My son’s sheep just had a new baby lamb. He posted this picture on Instagram and I thought I’d surprise him with a painting. I’ve worked on this all day and it’s 4 0’clock and I’m still in my pajamas… Can’t mess with it any more today… 🙂

Here is the finished piece. I softened the shadows…added some blues…added yellow in the hay and took off the darkness on the door, because I didn’t want it to detract from the little lamb. Done!

I hope so … 🙂 I’m not finished. I think I need to soften the mom and the shadows some and add some blue…I don’t know. I’ll be able to think better tomorrow.
