I do love lilacs. I have planted some by my driveway and look forward to their fragrance every Spring. This beautiful painting is a wonderful reminder that Spring WILL come. Got a hint of it today. I think it got up to 40.
It got up to about 70 here. Kind of a nice rest from the cold, but I know it will be back. I love the smell of lilacs. We have one bush that belongs to my daughter in the back yard. It took forever for it to bloom and now it has some blooms, but not many. I think there is too much shade where it is.
