I’ve been working a little each day on this piece. I really want it to work, and I really thought it would take less time…
I’m getting it together, I think…Putting more of the blue background behind the guitar player will help it flow more. Using more reds in the instruments… I’ve got some ideas where to go with this tomorrow.

Karin, this is amazing! I assume this is your family? I know we shouldn’t compare our work to others (in my case, I just feel very inadequate ) but….. That said I do love your work and wish that I could paint something like this. I will try not to covet your talent.

Awww! Thank you, Pam…These are some of my daughters and one of their friends who is playing the guitar. This evening we were having a jam session/music night. I was sitting next to the banjo player playing the boudhran and I thought to take a few pictures. So this is kind of a pieced together version from my eyes. Hopefully, I can pull it off. 🙂

My Dad and his brother always play and sing at family get togethers. My Dad had a band when he was young. your comment reminded me of that Cindy, funny I had not thought about it in a while.
