Worked on a plein aire painting of the spring colors… Redbuds are the star of the Oklahoma landscape this time of year. I’ve always loved the dark brown color of the tree trunks and the lime green of the newly forming leaves with the pinkish/purplish redbuds… Love it…

We’ve had a really warm spring. No freezes yet to kill anything that begins flowering, but you never know here in OK what the weather will bring… 🙂
