Not So Sure…

So there are a lot of things I’m “not so sure” about, but this little guy definitely looks that way. I’m “not so sure” what to call this painting. My husband thought “Not So Sure” was a great title. What do you think?

This was a shot that the photographers captured at my son’s wedding. It reminds me of something Norman Rockwell would have painted. It took me a long time to get a face on that little guy. I used a magnifying glass… And I did scrape it and start over quite a bit.

Hope this makes you smile. 🙂

Concrete Magnolias

I know this is a strange name, but what inspired me to paint these two paintings was actually the look of concrete in the vase and the background…

I love the look of concrete… neutral grays…taupes…

And I love the way the branches look in winter and the first budding of new life in spring.

Sometimes life can seem bleak and hopeless, but there is always hope…

” Faith, hope and love, these three…” 1 Corinthians 13:13

…always a light at the end of the tunnel… always sunshine after the storm…

These paintings can hang together or separately…
