The palette is part of the process. I’ve decided to follow along with a painting video by Kathie Odom. She’s one of my favorite artists and she paints interesting places that tell a story to her. Today I’m using a palette that is modified from one that she uses.

I also did the block in of my painting today, as you can see in the photo. I actually progressed further than this today, but I’ll share that tomorrow.
