One more day… I feel like I’ve been climbing a 14er and I’m almost to the top, but I’m not sure I can make the last 14 feet…

Wow… I’m tired and the challenge isn’t even half way through. I’ve been working on a commission all this time, and I was hoping to finish it and post it today, but it didn’t get finished. Instead I took one of the mini paintings that I didn’t like and scraped it and painted something over it and scraped it again and that is why I’m naming these flowers finicky…or am I finicky…

Many of you probably have no idea where Ras Tanura is, but I spent about 6 years of life there when I was a teen. Ras Tanura is in Saudi Arabia right on the Persian Gulf. The beach there was incredibly beautiful. I remember the ocean being a turquoise color and the sand was so white… Here’s my mini rendition of that beach…
