This one was really hard. My blogger friend Amy posted a picture the other day and I asked if I could paint it. I loved the way the sunlight lit up the sand in the background, the hay, the donkey’s neck… Sunlight is hard to paint. I ended up darkening the background sunlight and shadows, so that hopefully the burro would stand out more. Anyway I’m getting behind again…need to get on with the next painting.
